KIFI Association (Kudo International Federation India), is the governing body for Kudo in India, it was established on 19th Oct 2011, under the aegis of Jukucho Takashi Azuma and Shihan Akshay Kumar.
The Kudo revolution was started in India by Soshihan Mehul Vora president of KIFI Association, on the eve of the 3rd Akshay Kumar International Invitational Karate-Do Tournament, this was the first time ever a six member all Japan champion team gave demonstrations and taught students and instructors in India.
The mission statement of Soshihan Mehul Vora and KIFI Association is to promote Kudo in its purest form across every, village, town and city of India, and to create world champions in Kudo. Read More about KIFI Association »
KUDO EVENTS & RESULTS
KUDO RULES
The KUDO rules overview Victory or defeat is decided by any direct attack using “punch, kick, elbow, head-butt, throw, etc”. Face protector (Neo headgear KU) must be worn and techniques are to be executed with bare hands and feet. (Fist supporters approved by committee may be used) Also ground techniques such as strangle and joint techniques are allowed to take give up. Grabbing and swinging an opponent and punching, elbowing, head-butting or kicking an opponent with holding “KUDO-GI” are allowed for up to 10 Seconds. But, the allowed techniques are limited when there is a difference of over 20 Physical Index (height in cm + weight in kg) within the competitors. Attack using elbow and head-butt are allowed. Tackle and throwing are allowed. Ground techniques are allowed twice during every 3 minutes of the original match, extension or re-extension for a maximum of 30 seconds each time.

The Kudo International Federation (KIF) Japan, is the world headquarters of KUDO, it is an international organization which maintains the development of KUDO as a Budo sport in over 50 countries around the world, and is presided over by Jukucho Takashi Azuma 8th dan founder of Kudo.

1ST WORLD KUDO TOURNAMENT
1st World Kudo Tournament is conducted. (Tokyo, National Yoyogi Competition Arena, 2nd Gymnasium)

NPO KUDO INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION
NPO Organization for development of International Kudo becomes NPO Kudo International Federation again and become engaged mainly into management of activities of international organizations.

GOVERNMENT OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZES NPO KIF
Government officially recognizes NPO KIF.

1ST WORLD KUDO CUP
1st World Kudo Cup is conducted. (Moscow)
